Welcome to the Claudia B. Williams Archives & Research Library. Claudia Baxter Williams is a retired media specialist whose passion for history, community, and education has left a lasting legacy. For over 30 years, Claudia inspired students and faculty in the Dothan City School System and championed the preservation of her community’s rich cultural heritage. Her efforts helped establish the local historic district and rescued countless stories, photographs, and artifacts from obscurity, ensuring they are accessible for future generations. This library houses her extensive collection, including personal papers, photographs, oral histories, and genealogical research, serving as a living tribute to her dedication.
